Create a worldbuilding mission statement. Lay out why you're building this world, what you want to do with it, and what sort of scope you want (or need) it to have. Keep this somewhere you can reference it as you worldbuild, so you keep on track as you develop your world. If you'd like, share your mission statement in the comments.
